Introducing PixServe

Today we're launching PixServe, a free image hosting service built for speed and simplicity. If you've ever needed to quickly share an image — paste it into a forum post, embed it in a README, or send someone a screenshot — you know the frustration. Most image hosts either delete your files after a few months, plaster interstitial ads over everything, or require heavy JavaScript just to display a JPEG.

PixServe is different. Every uploaded image gets a direct URL that you can hotlink anywhere. No interstitials, no JavaScript required, no expiration dates. We serve images through Cloudflare's global CDN, so they load fast regardless of where your visitors are. And we don't require an account — just drag, drop, and share.

Privacy was a core design goal from day one. Image URLs are generated using cryptographic randomness, which means they're effectively unguessable. We don't track who views images, we don't inject tracking pixels, and we don't build advertising profiles. Your upload metadata (file size, dimensions, upload timestamp) is stored for operational purposes only.

We built PixServe because we wanted an image host we'd actually want to use ourselves. It's free, it's fast, and it respects your privacy. Give it a try — we think you'll like it.
