2023 Transparency Report

We've published our third annual transparency report covering all of 2023. This year we received 5,823 DMCA takedown notices, 22 US law enforcement requests, and 4 international legal requests via MLAT. You can read the full breakdown on our transparency page.

One trend worth noting: the rejection rate for DMCA notices dropped slightly to 32.8%, down from 34.1% in 2022. We attribute this to better-informed rights holders submitting more complete notices. Our average processing time also came down to 14 business days, which we're proud of given the volume increase.

As always, our warrant canary remains intact. We've received zero National Security Letters and zero FISA orders. We'll continue publishing these reports annually and will notify users if our canary statement ever needs to change.
